Logging In
- If you do not have the Alert App open, click on the Windows Start Menu, locate the Alert App under programs, click to run.
- In the login window, enter your username and password and click 'Login.'
User Tab
The 'User Tab shows the username that is logged in and the phone number that will be used to send and receive messages. The 'User' Tab is also where you are able to logout, which is done by simply click the 'Logout' button.
Alert Settings
Once logged in, the Alert App has various settings and customization to suit your needs.
Display Times
The in Alert App allows you to customize the length of time certain notifications are displayed before disappearing.
Unread Count - The unread count alert shows the total number of unread messages
New Message Alerts - The new message alerts will display all newly received messages
Display Time Options
Never Show - Disables the selected alert (alert will not appear)
5 Seconds - The alert will appear for 5 seconds and then disappear
10 Seconds - The alert will appear for 10 seconds and then disappear
30 Seconds - The alert will appear for 30 seconds and then disappear
1 Minute - The alert will appear for 1 Minute and then disappear
Permanent - The alert will remain visible (unless the alert is manually closed by clicking the 'X' or replying to the message)
Preferences
The Alert App allows you to customize the location the notifications will appear and allows you to enable or disable the new message sound.
Alert Position Options
Bottom Right - The alerts will appear in the bottom right corner of your monitor
Bottom Left - The alerts will appear in the bottom left corner of your monitor
Top Right - The alerts will appear in the top right corner of your monitor
Top Left - The alerts will appear in the top left corner of your monitor
App Settings
The App Settings tab allows you to change the theme of the app and check for any updates to the application.
Theme Selection
It is possible to change the theme or appearance of the Alert App. To change the theme click the drop-down list and select either the 'Light' or 'Dark' Option. Below are screenshots of the two theme options.

Check for Updates
The app automatically checks for updates for you daily. To manually check to see if your version is up to date, click the 'Check for Updates' button.
If there are any pending updates to the Alert App, you will be prompted to install the update:
Click 'Yes' to Install the update.
